Foxconn is looking to establish itself in the VGA space

Foxconn has announced the release of its NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS, 8600GT and 8500GT graphics cards. The Foxconn new GeForce 8600 graphics series feature NVIDIA’s new DX10 unified architecture which – according to Foxconn’s PR – brings unparalleled levels graphics realism and performance to gamers, in addition to Foxconn’s cooling system, which the vendor claims can increase overclocking capability by up to 15%. For gamers on a budget the Foxconn GeForce 8500GT is priced at a sub-$100 price point.

Go Extreme with Foxconn 8600GTS and 8600GT Overclocked Version In addition to the standard GeForce 8600 and 8500 series, Foxconn is also launching a factory GeForce 8600GTS and 8600GT “Overclocked” graphics card at the same time. It is spec’d at a 700 / 2200 and 560 /1560 MHz (Core / Memory clock) respectively, meaning more graphics power for your money.

Every Foxconn 8600 series graphics card comes bundled with Restore IT 7.0 and Virtual Drive Pro 10.0 software along with FOXCONN proprietary “Foxware Overclock Utility”. These bundles retail more than US$100.00 when acquired separately at local retail stores.
